# Introduction

**LFG Hub** is a Discord bot that turns your server into a *looking-for-group* hub. Members say what they want to play and how many spots are open; the bot matches them with others, spins up a voice channel, and keeps it tidy when the session ends. The result is less "anyone wanna play?" noise and more games actually getting started.

## What it does

* **Looking For Group (LFG)** — members post a group for a game with the filters that matter (platform, group size, mode, region, language). Others see it and join.
* **Automated voice channels** — the bot optionally creates a voice channel for each group, moves players in, enforces the player limit, and deletes the channel when everyone leaves.
* **Discovery** — optionally pings a role or DMs members when a group matches what they play, so groups fill faster.
* **[LFG Network](/features/network)** — groups on the server become discoverable from the network, so they fill faster and bring in new server members.
* **Scheduling** — members schedule a session for later in their own timezone, and the bot pings group members when it's time.
* **[Moderation & reports](/features/moderation)** — members report a player or a post; moderators get their history, a chat transcript and a case they can warn, restrict or dismiss.

## Next steps

Adding LFG Hub to your server is a single click — just use the invite link provided by the LFG Hub team. Once it's in, **members can start right away**: [`/lfg`](/commands/reference#lfg) (or `/create-group`) creates a group and [`/open-to-play`](/commands/reference#open-to-play) marks a player open to play — in any text channel, no setup needed.

2. [Run `/setup-lfg-channel`](/guide/configuration) — needed to pre-set which games players can create groups for in each channel and which LFG filters they can choose from. It also makes your server uniquely discoverable across the [LFG Network](/features/network), so players from other servers can join your groups from there.
