# Premium

LFG Hub is free. Premium is a light layer that unlocks a few **advanced voice controls** — everything else works for everyone without it.

Premium is **per user**, not per server. Each member who wants the premium controls must be premium themselves; there's no server-wide plan that grants it to everyone at once.

## What premium unlocks

For a premium user, these voice-moderation controls appear on their group's panel:

* **Transfer ownership** to another member
* **Lock / unlock** the channel

If premium gating is turned **off** on your server, these controls are simply free for everyone.

## How a user becomes premium

There are two ways an individual member gets premium:

1. **Hold a premium role** — one of the roles you designate, typically granted through Discord Server Subscriptions or Whop.
2. **Vote for the bot on top.gg** — voting grants that user **7 days** of premium automatically.

The bot checks the user's premium role first, then any time-limited subscription tied to that user.
